On 9th January 2025, the Center of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Development (CEID) at DHA Suffa University (DSU) proudly hosted an informative panel discussion featuring industry pioneers and startup leaders.
The discussion focused on the theme: “Navigating the Challenges & Opportunities of Pakistan’s Industry and Startups.” The esteemed panelists included:
1. Mr. Majyd Aziz – President of MHG Group, with over 50 years of experience and a legacy of leadership at the KCCI.
2. Mr. Anis H. Younus – Chairman EMBA Corporation, President of CSR Club Pakistan.
3. Mr. Ahmed Ayub – Chief Strategy Officer at Conrad Labs and technical co-founder of Airlift Technologies, with expertise in e-commerce, logistics, and HR-centric strategies.
4. Mr. Abdul Mannan – CIO at Bykea, with a proven track record in IT and e-commerce, having driven growth at platforms like Daraz.pk and Kaymu.pk.
5. Mr. Faizan Laghari – Co-Founder of Startup Syndicate, former Head of NIC Karachi, and a key figure in startups like Bykea and Forrun.
The session began with a warm welcome by Mr. Tahir Mehmood, Executive Director of DSU. The panel was moderated by Ms. Rozina Imtiaz, Director of CEID.

The session concluded with a closing speech by the Dean of Engineering & Computer Sciences, Professor Ahmad Hussain, followed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Saeed Minhas, presenting shields to the panelists as a token of appreciation.
