Breaking the Cycle: Understanding Generational Trauma

Generational trauma is the emotional and psychological pain passed down from one generation to the next. It stems from unresolved struggles, societal pressures, and painful experiences that shape family dynamics. Without awareness and healing, these patterns continue, affecting relationships, self-worth, and mental well-being.

Our BS Psychology 7th semester students brought this reality to life through their drama Beyond the Scars, showcasing how past wounds influence present lives. Under the guidance of Ms. Kinza Shamim, they highlighted the importance of healing, breaking toxic cycles, and creating a future free from inherited pain.
