Shell Eco-Marathon

Shell Eco-Marathon is an international competition that challenges students to produce innovative, fuel-efficient vehicles and compete against teams from around the world to achieve maximum fuel economy. Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2018 was held at Changi Exhibition Center Singapore from March 7 to 11, 2018.

Team DSU Shell Eco-Marathon officially represented DHA Suffa University in this prestigious competition. The team comprised of 9 undergraduate students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and was guided by Engr. Safa Sattar and Engr. Najiullah Hussaini. In its debut participation at Shell Eco-Marathon Asia, Team DSU passed all technical inspections within a day, which is a testament to the team’s exemplary level of preparation and professionalism.

The team officially registered a fuel economy figure of 51 km/L, thereby, earning the unique honor of becoming one of the two teams from Pakistan to post valid fuel economy figures (Urban Concept Category) on the leader-board.
