Visit to Feroze 1888 Mills Limited

Under the supervision of Ms. Tehseen Azhar, final year students of BBA visited Feroze 1888 Mills Limited on December 18, 2019 as part of their Professional Development course. The objective of this visit was to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the HR Practices, Professional Environment of an organization and to give the flavor of Textile industry of Pakistan.

The day started with the Hi-Tea before the motivational session. The session was conducted by the representatives of their Learning & Development department. The session was fully interactive and students were continuously engaged through different activities and the speaker made them realize some important factors like gratitude, self-awareness and professionalism. The speaker also highlighted the basic HR concepts they are following and how their organization is fully committed to the ideology of 3PS (People, Planet & Prosperity). They also shared how they keep on focusing continuously on their people development and also used to organize different training and family events to motivate their employees and make them feel special being the part of the Feroze community. The session was ended on the activity of motivational song and to mentor students about basic life philosophies. Few of the students also shared their testimonials about the visit and then they were served with the delicious lunch and souvenir towels manufactured by Feroze 1888.

They also showed the manufacturing process of producing the best export quality towels.
