Career Choice Ladder

On January 22, 2024, DSU’s Alumni Relations Office, in partnership with the CSCR Department, orchestrated a Career Counseling session at DSU’s ELT, focusing on the ‘Career Choice Ladder.’ The guest speaker for the session was Ms. Saba Umer, Head of HR & OD at Mustaqim Dyeing & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd.

In this enlightening guest speaker session, attendees embarked on a journey of self-discovery and strategic career planning. Ms. Saba, provided invaluable insights into navigating the intricate steps of the career ladder. Emphasizing the importance of aligning passion with profession, the session unveiled practical strategies for making informed decisions and seizing opportunities. Attendees left with a renewed sense of direction, armed with tools to ascend their own career choice ladder. The event sparked a collective motivation to climb towards fulfilling and purpose-driven professional paths.

The session came to an end with a vote of thanks from Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas, Pro-VC of DSU, who expressed gratitude. On behalf of DSU, he presented a memento to Ms. Saba Umer as a token of appreciation.
