PEC has launched an initiative on “Financing of Final Year Design Projects” to boost up competency among engineering graduates through competition of their respective FYDPs. The following FYDPs have been selected for award of financial assistance from DSU for the year 2023-24:
These projects are highly focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
1- Design and Fabrication of Pulper for Paper Recycling, Supervised by: Engr. Mansoor Dawson
2- Design and Fabrication of Electrostatic Separator for Recycling of Materials, Supervised by: Engr. Safa Sattar

National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) visit
A distinguished National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) delegation, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto, conducted a thorough three-day site visit at DHA Suffa University Karachi for the accreditation assessment of BBA and MBA programs on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of November 2023. The esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Afzal Haque, and Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas, along with the Dean, Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmad and HOD, Associate Prof. Dr. Sobia Iqbal Shaikh, expressed their appreciation by presenting shields to the NBEAC team members upon the completion of their visit.
