Linguistic Workshop Series at DHA Suffa University

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first two workshops in our ongoing Linguistic Workshop Series at DHA Suffa University, both conducted by the esteemed Dr. Kamran Ali!

Our series commenced with a workshop on Cognitive Linguistics, where Dr. Kamran Ali led an engaging and insightful session exploring how our cognitive processes shape the way we understand and use language. The workshop sparked thoughtful discussions and deepened our knowledge of this fascinating field.

Building on the success of the first workshop, we continued the momentum with our second session on Functional Grammar / Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). This workshop excavated the intricacies of language structure and function, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of how language operates in various contexts.

Milestone Achievement for DHA Suffa University

The IR program proudly announces that the first-ever BS in International Relations batch has successfully defended their Final-Year research projects. This significant achievement marks a new chapter in academic journey of IR program. DSU extends heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed external examiners for their impartial assessment of each student’s work, expert opinion on their presentations and valuable guidelines to the students for future research contributions. IGNITE National Championship 2024

We are proud to announce that our EE department Final Year Design Project ‘Design and Implementation of a Four Quadrant DC Chopper Drive for DC Motor Speed Control’ was selected by IGNITE National Championship 2024 to be showcased in Islamabad. Students from the Electrical Engineering Department visit KNIPOE

Students from the Electrical Engineering Department visited KNIPOE, located adjacent to KANNUP, accompanied by faculty members Engr. Asif Gulraiz and Engr. Mohammad Owais. The students toured various labs to observe the different processes involved in a nuclear power plant. They also observed the operation of a simulated model of a nuclear power plant used for stability analysis. The visit proved highly beneficial for gaining insights into various industrial projects and complex engineering issues
