Students from the Electrical Engineering Department visited KNIPOE, located adjacent to KANNUP, accompanied by faculty members Engr. Asif Gulraiz and Engr. Mohammad Owais. The students toured various labs to observe the different processes involved in a nuclear power plant. They also observed the operation of a simulated model of a nuclear power plant used for stability analysis. The visit proved highly beneficial for gaining insights into various industrial projects and complex engineering issues

The Farewell party to the first Batch of BS English, class 2020,was given by the students of English Dept.

This momentous occasion was celebrated on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the DHA Creek Club.

PEC Accreditation Visit 2024:

We are pleased to announce that the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) conducted a reaccreditation visit for our Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Programs (intake batches 2020 onwards) held on 24-25 June 2024 has yielded a successful outcome.

The Convener, Engr. Zahid, expressed satisfaction with our infrastructure, program curriculum, and overall standards, recognizing our commitment to delivering high-quality engineering education.

We extend our gratitude to our faculty, staff, and students for their hard work and dedication in showcasing our programs’ strengths. This achievement reaffirms our institution’s dedication to producing competent engineers who will contribute meaningfully to the profession.

DSU’s International Education Resource Center collaborated with TimeTrax to deliver a comprehensive Curriculum

DSU’s International Education Resource Center collaborated with TimeTrax to deliver a comprehensive Curriculum Enrichment Program of 2.5 months for DSU students. This partnership enabled DSU Management Sciences students to receive valuable training and certification in Human Capital Resource Management System and Customer Relationships Management Systems.

Congratulations to all those students who received their certificates.

We look forward to continued collaboration with TimeTrax to enhance the skills and knowledge of our students before they enter the job market.

PEC FYDP Cheque Distribution by Engr. Mir Masood Rashid

Engr. Mir Masood Sb, Advisor to Chairman PEC visited DHA Suffa University on 20th June, 2024 and give away the cheque for FYDP funded project from PEC. 5 projects in total were funded for the 2023-24 cycle with 2 projects from Electrical and Mechanical Engineering each and 1 project from Civil Engineering.

Mr. Mir Masood also briefed the faculty about 10 initiatives taken by PEC under the Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC) including FYDP, Capstone Expo, E-library, STEM initiative and E-gateway for betterment of Engineering students and professionals.
