ON-CAMPUS ACADEMIC COUNSELLING SESSION FOR DSU STUDENTS BY REPRESENTATIVES OF UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO & UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON

DSU’s IERC (International Education Resource Center) in collaboration with ‘EdTours’ organized an academic counselling session for DSU’s final year students in DSU’s ELT (Executive Lecture Theatre) on 21st Feb 2022, where they met face-to-face with representatives from ‘University of Colorado Boulder USA’  and ‘University of Houston-Victoria USA’.  During this counselling session DSU’s students sought guidance from US University representatives regarding various opportunities to study abroad in USA and the associated costs and application procedures.  The US University representatives from University of Colorado and University of Houston-Victoria answered student queries regarding degree programs of their interest and during the session a representative from USEFP (United States Education Foundation of Pakistan) was also present to interact with students and apprise them of various scholarship opportunities to study in USA.

AUSTRALIA SKILLED GRADUATE VISA (SUBCLASS 476)

DSU’s IERC (International Education Resource Center) would like to bring to the attention of DSU’s fresh BE(Electrical Engineering) and BE(Mechanical Engineering) graduates that they are eligible to apply for Australia’s Skilled Graduate Visa (Subclass 476).  This visa allows recent engineering graduates to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months.

SISTER 2 SISTER EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2022

DSU’s IERC (International Education Resource Center) would like to bring to the attention of all female students of DHA Suffa University that applications are currently open for the US-Sister2Sister Exchange Program 2022. The application deadline is 15th-December-2021.  Under this program, female students enrolled at a Pakistani university will have the opportunity to go USA, to participate in US university undergraduate courses in mostly Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields.  The Sister2Sister Exchange Program covers full tuition fee, travel cost to and from USA, Health insurance, Accommodation & food expense as well as Visa Fee.  This is an excellent opportunity for DSU’s female students to acquire international exposure.

DSU’s Female Students enrolled in various degree programs at DSU are strongly encouraged to apply.  For any support that they need in preparing & submitting their online application, they are welcome to contact DSU’s IERC Directorate.
