About the Speaker:
Mr. Munawar Abadullah is CEO, ImpTrax and Chairman, YorkLand. As a results-focused executive with demonstrated ability to lead the organizational transformation, his career has focused around partnering with business leaders to develop the long-term vision, and customer-focused and cost-effective solutions strategy; and then delivering on that strategy to expand organizational capabilities and fuel growth.
Mr. Haroon Dosani is an entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in business development, financial modelling and operating processes. Most of his work has been in growth through strategic acquisitions and business turnarounds in real estate and the professional car wash industry. Haroon holds an MBA degree from the University of Houston.
Mr. Haider Cheema is experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in drug development. He is a business development professional and skilled in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Chromatography, Medical Devices, Spectroscopy, Microscopy and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

6th Award Distribution Ceremony

DHA Suffa University held its 6th Award Distribution Ceremony on 11th June 2019 to honour the academic high achievers of Spring and Fall semesters, 2018.  The Chief Guest at the ceremony was DHA Suffa University’s retiring Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sarfraz Hussain, who distributed Merit Certificates to Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Management Science students on Dean and VC Honour Lists.  Students who represented DSU at various inter-university competitions during the year 2018 and won positions were also awarded Certificates of Appreciation during the ceremony.  Awards were also given to the best and second best faculty members and lab engineers of various teaching departments for their teaching excellence in Spring semester 2018.

With over 28 years of industry experience, Kamran Saeed has demonstrated skills in the domain of marketing, strategic planning, project management, team development, leadership and specially sales. Kamran Saeed has been practicing sales throughout his career locally and internationally. He has mastered the art of selling in all aspects and demonstrated success sales in diverse fields such as IT, engineering, publishing, and event management.

Apart from practicing sales, Kamran Saeed has been keen in imparting his learnings and has provided training to over 500 officers of government, semi government, multinational and private organizations. He has also imparted sales related education in prestigious institutes such as IBA and currently he is faculty at DHA Suffa University. He is also President, Solutions Inc, an event management company.

The course, as its title suggests is aimed at exposing the participants to the science of writings of different forms such as articles, interviews, reviews in different sources such as magazines, newspapers features etc. to prefer journalism as a possible career option. The workshop is also ideal for candidates whose work requires any writing or communication in different online and print mediums.

Since online presence has become somewhat a mandatory requirement for any author, a blog is the most effective way to reach out to throngs of audiences and build a solid reader base. The course aims at introducing the participants to the expansive world of blog writing as well. Trainer – Shahzeb Shaikh Author in Newspapers & Magazines(Dawn, The News, Tribune), Blogger.

Shahzeb Shaikh brings with him a rich two-decade experience of writing in leading newspapers and magazines such as DAWN: Icon (formerly Images on Sunday), Young world, The Review, MAG The Weekly, THE NEWS: Instep & US magazine and Express Tribune Life & Style, to name a few. He also serves as Deputy Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Person with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh. He is an Officer of District Administration/Revenue Service in the Government of Sindh with years of experience as Additional Deputy Commissioner/Assistant Commissioner in various Districts. Moreover, He is a PhD scholar and an IBA Karachi and NEDUET Karachi alumnus.

Shahzeb’s areas of interests are music and entertainment whereby he has interviewed noted international and local artistes and covered various international and local events. He also edited the ‘Pur Aman Karachi Newsletter’ published from the Commissioner’s Office in collaboration with USAID. He conducted similar courses in Indus Valley School of Arts & Architecture Karachi and IBA Karachi.
