CPD short course on ‘Renewable Energy Technologies and Smart Grids’
DHA Suffa University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Professional Development Center (PDC) conducted a four day CPD short course on ‘Renewable Energy Technologies and Smart Grids’, for professionals from the industry. The training was conducted by Engr. Dr. Muhammad Sabih and Engr. M. Asadullah Siddiqui of DSU’s Dept. of Electrical Engineering. The four day training course was attended by engineers from Peoples Steel Mill. During the training, trainees were given hands-on exposure of Solar & Wind Power technologies in DSU’s state-of-the-art Electrical Power Systems Lab. They were also given insight into concepts pertaining to IoT and IoT’s role in modern Power Networks. The training concluded with a Certificate Distribution Ceremony in which trainees were awarded certificates by DSU’s Dean (EAS), Engr. Prof. Dr. Johar Khurshid Farooqi
