Engr. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Raza Mehdi

Engr. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Raza Mehdi is an engineer by profession with over 37 years of varied international experience of industry and academia. He retired after rendering a meritorious service as Professor and the Founding Principal of Thar Institute from the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan.
Engr. Mehdi‘s experience is spread over the domains of Engineering and Academic Administration, Consultancy, Teaching/trainings and Research in USA, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Dr. Mehdi possesses a Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering , Masters’ in ‘Transportation & Urban Systems’ from the University of Maryland, USA and Doctoral degree in Environmental Sciences . Later, was awarded a Post Doc fellowship in the field of ‘Geospatial Applications’ ,accomplished at the University of West Georgia, USA . Prof. Mehdi’s interests include the linkages amongst urban transport, environment, and health variables with modeling application of remote sensing and GIS techniques. Dr. Mehdi worked on infrastructure, environmental and transportation consultancy projects . He had been an independent consultant with the World Bank and UNDP. He has authored and published several papers in impact factor journals of international repute .

He has been a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001. He has travelled extensively and provided services as Advisor and Consultant for companies, has organized and participated at several professional, international meetings and has been member of international professional associations such as ASCE, ITE, AAG, ASPRS, GRSS and IEEE.

Mr. Syed Muhammad Fahad Hussain

Fahad Hussain, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at DHA Suffah University, Karachi, Pakistan, brings a profound expertise in structural engineering and sustainable construction materials.
